We are extremely pleased to announce Auto Custom Carpets (ACC) and Auto Carpet Systems
(ACS) have joined forces to create the new ACC. This acquisition by ACC creates
a strong automotive flooring company with greater capabilities, expanded expertise,
a history of innovative products and loyal customers. The catalyst for this transaction
is the belief that the combination of our two companies can deliver greater value
to our customers. On behalf of our team, we are committed to making this belief
a reality.
ACC now brings together two leading companies with complementary strategic visions,
product innovations and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Starting September
4,
2007 we will begin integrating the two companies together to create the all around
best automotive flooring company in America. By joining forces, we have a tremendous
opportunity to serve our combined customer base with an even higher level of service
and quality.
The new Auto Custom Carpets will continue to be owned by its employees thru our
employee stock ownership plan. (ESOP) The ESOP was created in 2002 and since that
time a large portion of company profits have been used to buy company stock for
its employees. Since ACC’s employees own the company they are highly motivated,
efficient and keenly interested in customer satisfaction.
In the coming weeks, our energy and resources will focus on making this transition
as seamless as possible while we continue to deliver automotive flooring to our
